| We all hear those stories about seemingly
rational human beings who turn into blathering idiots when they become
grandparents. Chris is not an exception! Chris' grand-boys, Quinn and
Elroy and her grand-girl, Josie, have done that to her and those of you
who have been in one of Chris' programs have probably heard her talk
about them. (Amazing, isn't it how she can work them into just about
every program.) The pictures in this section of ChrisClarke-Epstein.com
are provided so you can watch them grow and allow Chris to spend time
with them when she's on the road because Quinn and Josie's dad, aka
Elroy's uncle, aka Chris' son Paul, posts new ones semi-monthly.
It's hockey season, and Quinn's doing his best to light the light here. How's this for a pile of birthday goodness? Take a minute to see how Elroy spent his 5th birthday. Here's Josie...Can you guess how old she is? Click to see Josie's singing debut. (3.9mb, mp4) It doesn't get much better than a swing ride when Mom and Dad are the swing! Here's Team Q resting after finishing the 5K Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for a Cure in Stevens Point. Welcome to Holidays 2004. Whatever you celebrate, don't pass on a chance to feel the excitement of children and presents. When was the last time you felt unbridled enthusiasm for something? The perfect present brings joy! Aunt Miriam really knows what Quinn wanted for Christmas. Some presents aren't the thing, the real present is in the doing! Quinn and his Buppa, Frank, hard at work. When you're 9.5 months old the paper is almost better than what's wrapped in it. Elroy went after the shiny paper with joyful abandon! How do you think about life's unknowns. Imagine yourself set out on a new journey. Do you have the courage? In addition to courage, curiosity is an important characteristic to take with you on your life journey. Sometimes you need to talk something over. Fortunately both Quinn and Elroy think their Ahma Chris is a good source of wisdom. Truth be told, sometimes Chris can get carried away with all that wisdom stuff. If you need all of the answers to the tough questions not outlined in Chris' new book, take a lesson from Quinn. (.mpg 766kb) Even though Chris talks about Quinn as pretty close to perfect, he does have his moments. Any parent or grandparent remembers a time like this. In July, Elroy got to take his first airplane trip to Phoenix, AZ for the NSA Convention. He was well behaved on the flight and all smiles with his mom, Miriam, once we arrived at the hotel. Chris' friend, Kathy Dempsey, travels with her lizard Lenny. This summer Elroy got to meet Lenny and Kathy at the NSA Convention in Phoenix, AZ. It may be too early to tell but there are indications that Quinn might want to follow in his Ahma's footsteps and become a speaker . Quinn loves costumes, and Halloween is pretty close to his favorite holiday. Quinn was a great trick-or-treating success (2001) as Zorro and has replaced Antonio Bandaras in his grandmother's heart. In 2002 he hit the mean streets of Oshkosh as Batman, and in 2003 he stayed with the superhero theme, but branched out to a new favorite, Spiderman. See Quinn high over Oshkosh in the nose cone of an authentic WWII B-17 bomber. Anyone who's been around a new mother will have a picture like this somewhere in their family archive. Excited about something
big? Give this a try WOW!
